Universal Health Care

There's been a lot of debate about universal health care. Personally, I would like to see a system where everyone who wants coverage can get coverage. Having said that, I'm convinced that more government involvement will lead to higher prices, not lower. There's no free lunch. We'll either higher premiums, higher taxes or both. Does anyone really believe that the cost of health care will go down with more government involvement?
